The lodge was sponsored by Stafford Lodge No. 3500 and was Consecrated by Lord George Hamilton on the 4th March 1921.  The crest features an obelisk at Hadley Highstone in Barnet, Herts.  The obelisk marks where the Earl of Warwick (The kingmaker) fell during the War of the Roses at the Battle of Barnet.  This took place on the 14th April 1471.
The Lodge has been meeting continuously at Southgate Masonic Centre since November 1968
