Short History

​

The New Cross Lodge No. 1559 was Consecrated at the New Cross Public Hall on February 2nd 1876.

 

It removed to the Ship Hotel Greenwich on February 5th 1881, to the Portland Hotel on February 10th 1888, to the Hotel Cecil on February 12th 1897, to the Cafe Monico, Piccadilly Circus on February 8th 1918, to Frascatis Restaurant, Oxford Street on February 14th 1941, to the Oxford Corner House, 14 Oxford Street London W. on February 12th 1954, to the Throgmorton Restaurant, in the City of London on October 27th 1967, to the Charing Cross Hotel on the 25th April 1969, to the Horseshoe, Tottenham Court Road on 2nd February 1979, to the Central London Masonic Centre on the 2nd December 1979 and finaly to the Southgate Masonic Centre on the 27th February 2009
