At their recent meeting in January 2023 two brethren were Initiated.
The Lodge also hosted a visit from W.Bro John E.C.Leggett PSGD who is currently an Assistant Provincial Grand Master for Middlesex. There were 41 in attendance and it was a very successful meeting enjoyed by all who attended.
At this meeting a brother was Initiated who came to the Lodge via the SMC website.
Gothic Lodge No. 4517
On behalf of the WM and brethren of Gothic Lodge No 4517, may I express our appreciation for the work that has gone into making the Southgate Masonic Centre and the Beardmore Temple a Covid Secure environment. Clearly a lot of thought and preparation was needed before opening the Centre and those few members present felt safe and secure throughout. It seems the smallest details, such as providing us with tea and biscuits before the meeting, had been well thought through. Furthermore, the welcome we received from Pauline and Lynne was exceptionally friendly and they couldn't have been more helpful. Will you please pass on our thanks to all concerned.
Plucknett Lodge No. 1708
So having been on the brink of closure a couple of years ago, I am extremely proud to be the Worshipful Master of Plucknett Lodge 1708 in London. Three Masters stand together from the same family. I felt honoured to be installed by my brother Eddie Hawkes whilst our father watched from the side lines.
We dined with just under 40 brethren which was magnificent. Brethren from all over the country came to see the ceremony and I cannot thank our guests enough for attending If we can secure a couple more joining Brethren we will see what a unique lodge we are.
